Brisbane is home to 150,000 university students. Each one of them is in a pivotal time of their life where they will make choices and form relationships that will influence much of their adult lives. Many of them will be leaders in Australia and abroad in a few decades time. Tens of thousands of them are far from home having come from overseas, often from incredibly closed and unreached nations.

 

Campus ministry represents a special opportunity to come alongside these students with the good news of Jesus. Many of them are longing for peace, connection and a sense of purpose but are desperately lost in their attempts to attain this apart from God.

 

Jacques leads the Brisbane City Local Team and spends his time training and pastorally caring for missionaries as well as sharing Jesus with, and discipling, students at QUT and UQ.

 

Kez serves on the Brisbane City Local Team and spends her time pastorally caring for missionaries, sharing Jesus with students, organising student conferences and being an all-around admin powerhouse for the team.
